Does Gwen Stefani’s dad approve of the country singer?

The hardest person to impress in the beginning of a relationship is the dad. Country singer Blake Shelton finally met his girlfriend Gwen Stefani’s parents during the holidays and it seems that he and Gwen’s dad are getting along well.

According to People, the 39-year old Shelton took Stefani, the 46-year old lead singer of No Doubt, to meet his parents in Oklahoma. They then spend the time with Stefani’s folks in California.

“Blake helped Gwen’s dad around the house,” a source from People magazine revealed. “They seemed very friendly and like they were getting along great.”

“Blake and Gwen are going through similar situations.” The source added, “They have spent time together and have drawn support from each other. They are flirty.”

The two The Voice coaches seem to be hitting off pretty well. Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert even said that she was not surprised by their relationship.

Both singers divorced their spouses this year and revealed to Us Weekly in November that they were dating each other.
