32-year-old David Page Liddle was arrested last Friday after Taylor Swift's neighbors reported a suspicious man at a board yard near Swift’s home.
Officers arrested Liddle at Swift’s beachfront mansion in Rhode island, who was carrying a backpack with a baseball bat and other items commonly used in burglaries.

Liddle had told the policemen he intended to visit Swift and was looking forward to “catch up” with her because he knew her personally and had said Swift wanted to help him with his music career.
Security guards at Swift’s mansion told police they had seen Liddle earlier outside the front gate.
Liddle was held on $10,000 bond at a court appearance Monday.
