U2, the Irish pop superstars, responsible for the biggest pop-rock hits of the 20th century, is coming to Manila for the first time. Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen will perform on a one night only show at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Wednesday, December 11.

The Manila schedule is part of the band’s Joshua Tree 2019 tour, commemorating the 30th anniversary of their album of the same name. Songs like “With or Without You”, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and “Where the Streets Have No Name.”

Other venues for the Joshua Tree 2019 tour include Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan, Singapore, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.

Tickets for the Manila concert will be available starting Sept. 5, Thursday through the SM Tickets website. They are priced from PHP2,499 (US$49.15) to PHP20,499 (US$403.12), according to promoter MMI Live.

The tickets will be available to U2.com subscribers ahead of time from Sept. 1 – 3 (Sunday – Tuesday) and to subscribers of telco Smart on Sept. 4, Wednesday.
