- This was the very last song Meghan Trainor wrote for her upcoming album. She said that “No Excuses” was inspired by a personal experience she had and that through the song, she wants to remind us that “we need more respect in the world”.

“Real Friends” by Camila Cabello
- “Real Friends” is a song written by Camila Cabello after struggling to find ‘genuine friends”. According to a Tweet she posted last year, this song is “about feeling lonely and disilluded by people in LA while I was away from home.
“One Kiss” by Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa
- After experimenting with more pop and hip-hop over the past year or so, Calvin Harris finally returns to his roots with this new track featuring Dua Lipa. The song features a lengthy instrumental intro and is inspired by 1990’s house music.

- Anne-Marie, the trendy English singer responsible for hits such as Rockabye and Alarm, has recently opened up about her sexuality. Anne-Marie revealed on NME that she is attracted to both men and women, and that she never felt the need to tell anyone that she’s bisexual, adding “I just feel like I’m attracted to who I like. I honestly feel like everyone is like that.”
#1 – “Wa’y ‘Blema” by Wonggoys (#4th week)
The origin of “Wa’y ‘Blema” is that of a big heartbreak. According to main vocalist Gabe Wong, he was really heartbroken while writing the song. His brothers tried to cheer him up and they turned the song into a more cheery and positive tone. Inspired by Gabe’s own problems, the Wong brothers wrote “Wa’y ‘Blema” to remind all of us to breathe and set aside our problems for awhile “Ang tanang problema ipadaplin lang usa”.
