Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 brings back the humor, unique characters and marvelous chemistry that defined the first movie. The visuals of MCU’s new sci-fi offering are incredible as well.
However, the narrative falls into convention compared to the previous movie. In Vol. 2, we get to see the same storytelling tricks unfold. Despite that, the visually stunning rendered images keep things interesting.
We also get to see new characters in the movie just as unique and interesting as the ones we already know. The comic tone from the previous film is also present. However, this time I feel like it’s forced.
But overall, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is pretty much what you'd expect. Another fun Marvel movie.
