Sometimes great vocal talents have to let their voices rest and Ariana Grande is literally crying over it.

Last night, the pop diva went to Instagram to apologize to her fans in Portugal for making a last-minute cancel on her performance set the next day. In the Instagram post, Grande explained that her doctors forced her to take a rest from singing for a few days to an infection on her throat.

"I’m deeply saddened to tell my babes in Portugal that I have to cancel my performance at Rock in Rio. (I’ve literally been crying over this for an hour)”, Grande wrote. “I promise to make it up to you, and give you the best show I’m capable of when I return.”

Ariana Grande was supposed to set a performance for the Rock in Rio concert in Lisbon, Portugal where headliners are Bruce Springsteen, Maroon 5, Avicii¸ and Queen with their new lead vocalist Adam Lambert.
