Living the outrageously expensive life through celebrities can now be done in real-time!

MTV is certainly keeping up with the times and our favorite show, MTV Cribs is making a comeback through one of today's most-used mobile app Snapchat. Following the likes of Kylie Jenner and the rest of the Kardashians has made us virtually step into their million (or even billion) dollar homes and now we can become an insider on their luxurious assets and the whatnot. Over five years since it has last aired, MTV decided to take the step to bring it back via Snapchat. Although relatively cheaper, this gives us the chance to call dibs on being the first to know what's inside the homes of today's biggest celebrities.

According to an article published by Cosmopolitan, new episodes of Cribs will begin airing via MTV's Snapchat Discovery channel sometime in June and will air once a week. The first few episodes are said to feature the likes of Mac Miller, Austin Mahone, and Travis Mills.This isn’t the first time MTV has let artists take over its Snapchat. Recently, it handed over the reins to its account to rapper A$AP Ferg, for a behind-the-scenes tour of his performance at South by Southwest. Although highly likely to be made shorter, with MTV Cribs using Snapchat, this will make the real-time experience more intimate than ever.

What's more is that MTV is set to bring back it's old music segment format with the announcement of a slate of new programming, as it looks to “reignite” its brand. Despite jumping off the millennial bandwagon with using Snapchat, it seems that MTV is heading the call to bring back the days before reality TV ruined it call.

On another note, they should look into bringing back Celebrity Deathmatch too! Who wouldn't want to witness a Kylie and Blac Chyna face-off?
